Dr. Stephen Kenny
Dr. Kenny completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University before earning his medical degree from The Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. He specialized in pediatrics at Duke University Hospital, where he trained in both general pediatrics and neonatology. With extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient care, he has a particular interest in early childhood development. Dr. Kenny is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, ensuring the highest standard of care for young patients.
Dr. Kristen Woodward
Born and raised in Bermuda, she attended Mount Saint Agnes Academy before graduating from the Groton School in Massachusetts. She completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University and earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College) in Philadelphia before completing her pediatric residency at Brown University.
Specializing in outpatient and inpatient pediatric medicine, preventive care, lactation support, and nutrition, Dr. Woodward is a Certified Lactation Counselor since 2017 through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice in Massachusetts. She has a special interest in whole-food, plant-based approaches to preventive health and is a strong supporter of vaccination as a part of preventive health. A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Woodward is committed to the highest standards of pediatric care. She stays at the forefront of the field by regularly attending AAP conferences and incorporating the latest advancements into her practice.
Nurse Heather O'Connell
Born and raised in Bermuda, Nurse Heather has devoted her 30-year career to neonatal and pediatric care. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dalhousie University, she specialized in Neonatal Intensive Care, working in the Special Care Baby Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and Wee Care Pediatrics. She later supported student health as a school nurse with the Department of Health. Now at Edgewood Pediatrics, she brings her wealth of experience and passion for providing top-quality care to children and families.
