For acute illness, pain or persistent discomfort, patients are seen on the day they call the office. Patients with chronic conditions such as asthma and ADHD are monitored on a regular basis. Parents calling the office with medical questions can speak with Nurse Bernie or request a call back from their physician, as required.

Infants and toddlers under the age of two years are seen at regular intervals to ensure normal growth and development. All of our physicians are highly trained in normal developmental parameters. We give advice on weaning and strongly recommend immunizations. After the age of two years we recommend that children are seen on an annual basis as per guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics (and covered by insurance companies in Bermuda).
Nurse Bernie is qualified to advise on how to get the most out of your asthma medications. She offers support and help during exacerbations and will be a direct liaison to the physicians as required.
